Phoenix Swimming Club
Northolt Phoenix Swimming Club is based at Northolt Swimarama, which is in the London Borough of Ealing (west London).
The Club teaches youngsters from the age of five-years-old to swim and introduces swimmers to competitive swimming. Northolt Phoenix comes under the umbrella of Ealing Swimming Club, which competes at national level, which enables Northolt Phoenix’s members to progress from non-swimmers all the way up to national and international competitions. The Club operates under Amateur Swimming Association Rules
As well as teaching and competitive swimming, the Club has a thriving life saving section, which teaches people rescue techniques and trains them to take recognise Royal Life Saving Society qualifications, N.P.L.Q. Life Support Awards, Bronze Medallion and NRASTC
The Club is currently developing course for swimmers to become ASA qualified teachers.

As swimmers progress they move up to dippers, which swim at the same location. From dippers they move into the competitive session beginning with Novice.
As well as the Cub’s own championships held every year, the Club enters the London Graded League, which is the first step into competitive swimming. In 2005 Northolt Phoenix were joint winners of the London Graded League establishing the Club as one of the best clubs for teaching and introducing youngsters to competitive swimming in the area.

The Club takes a team of swimmers out to Germany for a week entering in a two-day festival of swimming for all ages (swimmers must be over eight-years-old to go on this trip). The competitive swimmers train at Northolt Swimarama on Mondays ,Wednesday and Fridays from 7:00pm.

On Monday evenings at 9:00pm the Club runs session for non-competitive swimmers, who wish to keep (get) fit. These sessions are for people who can swim 2 lengths of the Swimarama and don’t mind deep water. We are not worried about the standard of your stroke, this is purely to help fitness through the relaxing medium of water.
